
Courtney Sparks White, J.D., LL.M., ASA, AVA
Courtney Sparks White is the Director of Business Valuation and Forensic Accounting at Yankovich Adelman Johnson Stevenson, LLC. With advanced credentials, nearly nine years of experience in valuation consulting and six years of litigation consulting experience, Courtney lends valuable expertise to our business valuation and forensics and litigation services.
Prior to joining YAJS, Courtney worked at Ferguson Consulting, LLC and GBQ Partners, LLC where she was responsible for the completion of business valuations for estate and gift tax planning, buy-sell agreements, shareholder disputes, bankruptcies, mergers & acquisitions, succession planning, divorce litigation, and collaborative divorce. Her experience with divorce litigation support includes determining marital and separate assets and liabilities, tracing separate property, establishing the tax consequences of a division of property and spousal support, identifying the income of the parties, valuing closely-held businesses, critiquing opposing expert reports, and assisting with discovery.
Courtney received a Bachelor of Arts degree in mathematics with a minor in financial economics from Vanderbilt University, as well as a J.D. from Capital University Law School. She also received her LL.M. in taxation from Capital University Law School.
A member of the Columbus Bar Association, the Ohio Bar Association, and the Ohio Women’s Bar Association, Courtney also is an Accredited Senior Appraiser by the American Society of Appraisers and an Accredited Valuation Analyst from the National Association of Certified Valuation Analysts. Originally from Lancaster, Ohio, she currently resides in Gahanna with her husband and son.
